Profile extrusion is a wide field. Technoplast, Topf and Theysohn are combining the know-how of all three companies to form the only "ALL-in-ONE" supplier, operating production plants for extruders, tooling and downstream equipment for the benefit of a clear "one-contact-responsibility" for technical profile solutions.
During the extrusion process, PVC compound, which is plasticized in the extruder is pushed through complex extrusion tools with a specific geometry and is then cooled and hardened during the calibration process by using the appropriate downstream equipment. Profiles can be made from various plastic materials.
By co-extrusion different materials are combined in sections of the profiles. Post-co-extrusion means the application of soft-PVC lips or gaskets made of various materials, like PVC, PMMA, ASA or also fiber loaded compounds (e.g. WPC).
Special additional equipment for mixing, cutting, film application and other techniques for finishing the profile are also available.
